우리 연구실은 유전자 변형 마우스 및 줄기세포 기반의 오가노이드를 포함한 다양한 in vitro/in vivo 모델을 이용하여,
아래의 3가지 분야에 관심을 가지고 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.
  1) 조직 재생 및 암 발생 과정에 관여하는 줄기세포와 주변 환경과의 상호작용 및 다양한 신호 전달 체계 연구
  2) 다양한 유전적 변이를 포함하는 암질환, 조현병이나 자폐증과 같은 뇌질환을 비롯한 다양한 인간 질병 치료법 개발을
    위한 3차원 체외 미니 조직/장기 모델 시스템 개발
  3) 생체 내 조직 프로그래밍 및 유전체 편집 기반의 재생 의학 연구
Our laboratory currently focuses on three major areas:
  1) Stem cell interaction with its microenvironment during tissue regeneration and cancer
  2) Development of 3-dimensional in vitro miniature organ systems for precise therapeutic
    intervention of various human diseases including human cancers and neurological disorders
  3) Novel strategy for regenerative medicine with a focus on in vivo tissue reprogramming and 
    genome engineering
To this end, we use various in vitro/in vivo approaches including mouse genetics and stem cell organoid culture.
